How to read a placement report

Every placement report is written to be quoted. Read it the other way round.\n\n## Four questions\n\n1. What share of the batch is in the number? Median of the placed is not median of the batch.\n2. Who are the repeat recruiters? One visit is a favour; four years is a relationship.\n3. What is the role, not the CTC? A title tells you what you will do on a Tuesday.\n4. How many offers came through alumni rather than campus process?\n\nA school that answers all four without flinching is a school worth applying to.
